Founded in 2003 by Markeem Kendall, the Stop the Madness Foundation was born out of a passion for helping youth navigate the challenges of bullying. Having experienced bullying firsthand, I wanted to create a safe space for students to share their experiences and learn how to combat negativity together.
Since our inception, we have reached thousands of students through workshops, mentorship programs, and community initiatives. Our commitment to evidence-based practices ensures that our programs are effective and impactful.
At the forefront of the Stop the Madness Foundation is our vibrant and fearless brand ambassador, Max Madness! Max is a scientist who uses his intellect, creativity, and heart to inspire youth to stand up against bullying. With his trusty red headband, white lab coat, and unstoppable energy, Max is on a mission to empower young people everywhere.
The Story Behind Max Madness
Max wasn’t always the confident young scientist we know today. Growing up, he faced bullying for being “different”—he loved spending time in his lab instead of playing sports, and his inquisitive nature made him stand out. But Max didn’t let the bullies define him. He learned that embracing his passions and standing tall in his uniqueness was the key to overcoming adversity. Now, Max uses his experiences to help other kids find their inner strength and understand that being different is their superpower!
